Here a pretty typical day for me!
I follow a low to moderate carb diet, full of whole, real foods, and I stick to my rule of thumb of #1starchPerDay and my “formula” for lunches & dinners. Here’s a list of benefits of a low carb approach!
Ok so here’s what I eat in a day as a nutritionist!
I need about 1800 ish calories to maintain my weight. I haven’t calculated this day’s exact calories, but I’d guess it’s close to 1800 if not a little more than that.
10:30am – hot chocolate without the whipped cream – with 2% milk
1pm Lunch of tabouli, mini meatballs (from frozen), and guac
3:45pm burrito bowl with chicken, cauliflower rice, shredded cheddar cheese, guacamole, and fat free vinaigrette
6pm Some shrimp as a snack before Zak got home
8pm Dinner of Meatballs in a crushed tomatoes sauce
